😜 Newsletter Riddle: What is the best way to take in the beautiful fall leaves? *answer at bottom
The Girls Tennis team of Wayne Hills High School raised a whopping $3000 in support of the local Wayne Interfaith Network (WIN) pantry. WIN supports the food needs of nearly 200 Wayne families. WIN President, Barbara Cohen, said that $3000 amount raised by a single sports team was unheard of and that it was almost twice the amount of the next largest donation they normally get. Kudos to the girls and Coach Greene on this fantastic effort!
Pablo is Schuyler's emotional support tortoise that currently lives in the Media Center with Mrs. Healy.
He is a Russian Tortoise that is roughly 26 years old. Pablo originally lived in Maryland with Mrs. Kopacz, who is the art teacher at JFK. He was named after Pablo Picasso. Mrs. Kopacz, Mrs. Healy's sister, donated Pablo to the Media Center at Randall Carter where he lived for a while under Mrs. Healy's care. He spent some time with Mrs. Tosi who teaches there and eventually moved in with the Gorski Family from Randall Carter for a few years. Pablo eventually made his way back to Mrs. Healy at Schuyler where he has been enjoying fresh lettuce from the hydroponic garden and dandelion flowers.

Fifth grade students once again enjoyed a trip to the Fairview Lake camp with friends from their partner schools. During their time at camp, students participated in outdoor activities that engaged them in team building and survival skills, as well as a ridge hike. Students had a great time as they enjoyed the beautiful camp environment with their peers.
